dad thinks i steal…drink…smoke…what else?

Everytime my dad’s money or his precious beers or cigs dissappear, why is it me who always gets blamed?? He storms into my room in the middle of the night on a school day and yells at me “What the hell where you doing with my ciggarattes?” it’s ridiculous, i NEVER do any of that. And no matter how many times i tell him, he won’t change his mind. He thinks i am theif and says things like “if i ever see my beers gone again, your in a load of trouble son”…im like uhmmm OK…what can i do? it’s starting to piss me off…im a hardworker at school and at home and all i do is study and work….well HARD! and he thinks im doing something “else” when i am home alone. Im 15 and i just find this really stupid! How can i convince him that he used up his money himself and that he was the one who drank up all his beers and can’t remember because he was too drunk to remember???

My dad used to accuse the whole family of stealing his soda and taking small amounts of money from his bank account. He’s a borderline schizophrenic and manic depressive.. so he has a little bit better excuse than being a drunk.

I never did figure out how to stop my dad from doing that, he still does and I’m 20 now.

If he ever hits you or anything you can call CPS, or have some other adult call CPS for a surprise random visit. Empty alcohol bottles wont look good.
